FAQ · 常见问题
Why does Claude Desktop on Windows 11 fail with spawn npx ENOENT?
Claude Desktop on Windows spawns child stdio servers without invoking a shell, so npx.cmd cannot be resolved directly. Wrapping the command as “command”: “cmd” with args [“/c”, “npx”, “-y”, “<package>”] resolves ENOENT deterministically.
What is the difference between Cursor .cursor/mcp.json and VS Code .vscode/mcp.json?
Cursor nests server definitions under the top-level “mcpServers” key, whereas VS Code Copilot Agent Mode expects a top-level “servers” key with an explicit “type”: “stdio” or “http” field.
