Ledgerlens privacy notice
Last reviewed: 1 November 2026. This describes what the code behind the Ledgerlens demo actually does with a CSV you upload.
Who processes the file
Ledgerlens is run by NeatJar. The file is sent to a Cloudflare Worker (Cloudflare is our hosting provider) and handled there. To pick which computed facts to highlight, the Worker may call Cloudflare Workers AI (a Llama 3.3 70B model). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
What the AI model sees
The model receives only column IDs (c1, c2, …), each column's type, and coarse buckets such as "missing share: low/med/high". It does not receive your header names, cell text, or any numbers from the file. Every sentence in the result is written by our server code from the computed profile.
Storage and retention
- The CSV is read in memory to compute the result and is not written to any database, KV store or file storage.
- The result is returned to your browser; we do not keep a copy.
- To enforce rate limits we keep your IP address (IPv6 shortened to its /48 prefix) with request times in the memory of a rate-limit counter. Times older than 60 seconds are discarded; the counter is not written to disk and is wiped if it grows past 10,000 addresses or the counter is restarted.
- Request logging (Workers Logs / Logpush) is not enabled for this Worker. Cloudflare may still process connection data as our infrastructure provider.
Limits and errors
- Max file size 256 KB, at most 5,000 data rows and 30 columns.
- 5 analyses per minute per IP, and 30 per minute across the whole demo. Over the limit you get a "Rate limit" message with a retry time (HTTP 429).
- Files that are too large, malformed (for example an unclosed quote) or missing a data row get an error message and nothing is analysed.
- If the AI step fails or its quota is used up, you still get the computed facts, with a notice that AI did not run.
Deleting your data
There is nothing stored to delete: the file is discarded when the request ends. Rate-limit entries expire after 60 seconds. Questions: contact NeatJar.
Please do not upload files containing personal data you are not allowed to share. This is a demo.
